What this panel measures
The CBC with differential looks at red and white blood cells and platelets. The comprehensive metabolic panel reports kidney and liver values, electrolytes and glucose, and the lipid panel measures cholesterol and triglycerides. Total and free testosterone with SHBG and albumin, LH and FSH look at hormone levels and the pituitary signals behind them. Free T3, free T4 and TSH cover thyroid function. Hemoglobin A1c reflects average blood sugar over recent months. The panel also includes PSA with a free-to-total ratio reflex, IGF-1, vitamin D, vitamin B12 and folate.
The PSA test in this panel is a reflex test: depending on the first result, the lab may automatically run follow-up testing. Reflex test fees may apply and are billed separately through your lab partner account.
